Show Report
The date was the 29th November, the venue was Chinawhite, the event was one of the most eclectic and exciting fashion extravaganzas to hit London. This exclusive affair was eagerly anticipated and widely attended by press across the board, from Vogue, Instyle and SKY to the Daily Mail and Time Out.
The Kaiz Boutique fashion show and launch party hosted by Sarah Bosnich provided a showcase for fourteen of the capital's most vibrant and diverse designers, culminating in a vivacious display of design talent from haute couture, to urban wear with a distinct air of savoir-faire. Even queuing was exciting with fashionista’s fighting their way in and eager paparazzi keen to snap the likes of Simon from Blue and hot new band VS, who gave a fantastic live after show performance.
Guests were welcomed with a lively latin band and then treated to a sumptuous display of salsa dance. The show itself enabled those present to get ‘up close and personal’ with a dazzling array of fabrics and styles. The gorgeous models meandered their way through the venue glistening from their exquisitely styled hair courtesy of Hebe Hair & Beauty, to their glitzy Jimmy Choo adorned feet.
It was a highly memorable evening with guests lavished with tasty canapés supplied by Covent Garden bar - Henry’s and delicious cocktails compliments of Chinawhite. Kaiz Boutique also held a charity auction conducted by Christie’s and successfully raised money for the Prince’s Trust Charity. Gifts donated included signed CDs from Blue and an autographed Rio Ferdinand shirt.
The dynamic collections exhibited demonstrated to the press and celeb filled audience that Kaiz Boutique is THE place in London to find unique hot urban and couture labels.
Denim Basques (DQ), slashed denim minis (Batlow) and heavily embellished skirts and tops (Ribbons & Bows) held up for the urban story, whilst Osty Couture, Sarita and the Finale MLR2 called the haute couture shots at the show.
To present the vast appeal of the boutique many of the designers including Joey D, Red Mutha, DQ and Batlow all had strong collections for the guys - tailoring, recycled pieces and striking art on blazers.
